Jane enjoys being an advocate for new Americans. She immigrated to the United States as a child and as a result personally understands the challenges  that our complex immigration system poses to families and individuals.

In 1997, Jane graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DCwith a  B.A. in Theology and World Religions. Prior to attending law school, she worked as  a high school teacher and ESL teacher. Her past experiences has helped her  develop an effective communication style that she utilizes with immigration  officers, judges and her clients.

In 2003, Jane received her J.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle, where she focused on Immigration and Refugee Studies.

She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American  Immigration Lawyer's Association. Currently she serves as chair of the Asylum  Committee for Washington State.
