Giddens School Reviews

This truly is an amazing school. When my daughter attended in first grade, everything she struggled with at a public Kindergarten fell away, and she excelled rapidly. Her first two years brought her a great deal of joy in her education. Unfortunately, her third year was filled with turmoil, and with the school in upheaval as well, it made for a less pleasant experience. Now that they're restructring and bringing in standardized testing, we're taking bowing out. Excellent place that promotes social justice, diversity, and social responsibility.

This is an amazing school. I have not seen anything that even comes close to this level of quality. I know that this is the very best that we can offer our child.

My daughter is in her second preschool year at Giddens and we love it. She's had two male preschool teachers and both have been great. The focus on social/emotional development is perfect for preschool and the school's social justice focus draws a wonderful community of families. I have enjoyed the school's garden, where preschoolers grow food to share with the St. Mary's food bank.

This school has a very close knit community of parents. The level of creativity that the students are exposed to is par excellence. Liberal, progressive, and socially conscious agenda. The principal is fantastic and has a wide open door policy.

This school is awesome. I trust the staff and i can tell they have a passion for what they do. They are individual focused, and really give my babies what they need. Parental involvement is, as always, what you make it, but they are never shy on gettng you involved and staying in touch with how your child is doing. What can i say, they are the best!

Parental involvment is very high. Staff is exceptional. Amazing anti-bias curriculum. Accredited for early childhood education.
