St. Therese Elementary School Reviews

It's sad to see what has happened to St. Therese over the past few years. Elementary program is excellent. Middle school is very disappointing. No foreign language, limited art program, and well there seems to be not screening process to enroll in the school. Parent evolvement is wonderful, it would be nice however if they hired if they hired specialist instead of parents. I'd wait a few years to enroll.

If you want a great in-city education from caring, forward thinking faculty and staff, St. Therese is an excellent choice. My two children are eager to go to school everyday. They are middle school 6th graders. St. Therese is also an excellent choice because they have gender specific classes for girls and boys at the middle school level. This is, I believe, one of the effective strategies that supports learning in particular from middle school age on. St. Therese has strong family involvement and a very strong sense of community. Finally, the overall small size is a benefit and something many families wish they could access.

My children have graduated from St. T's and were very prepared for high school. Sure, the school needs some work but overall, it prepares kids for high school. My kids are doing very well at HNA and SPrep

Great diversity and community/family feeling.

St. Therese is a wonderful place - it has a strong sense of community and social justice, while also holding very high academic standards that students meet. Diversity and acceptance of all people (race, culture, faith, income, etc) is demonstrated in all aspects of the school. Teacher and staff tenure is fantastic as well as class size ratios.
