This is an extraordinary school. Talented, caring teachers. There is a strong focus on social and emotional learning as well as academics. Kids are treated with respect and treat each other with respect and kindness. A very supportive environment where learning is fun

Small, supportive environment with dedicated teachers, engaging community of students and parents. Excellent ratios for learning and play matters! It's also a bargain for a private school.

University Cooperative is an amazing school and a supportive community. By recognizing and responding to the needs of children where they are at, respecting and encouraging their questions, allowing for the limits of their developing capacities, and having the courage to build a school around this well this is how U. Coop provides the conditions, the safe haven, where children learn how to learn their way and in their time. University Cooperative School might not be the right school for everyone but it is definitely the place for generous parents who have the desire and ability to be actively engaged in their children's education and to preserve the best things in childhood for them while they are developing skills and friendships for life.

We find the K-2 program lacking in academics. The atmosphere in the classroom is unhealthy and chaotic.

Excellent school. Great place to raise a child. Hands on learning. Just wish it went past 5th grade!

Caring, child centered program with mixed age classroom centering on problem solving, age appropriate leadership, music, language and arts. Very committed parents and teachers.

Lacks diversity, poor quality of teaching, contrived attempt to create equality in a mostly authoritarian environment.
