But if you want to send you kid to Lakeside for the sake of prestige, THINK AGAIN. It is not the environment for all kids. Senior year and the competition to get in to the best colleges is especially stressful and intense. No Senior Spring at Lakeside! The perfect school for the right kid, and it has been perfect for mine. Wouldn't even consider it for #2, though!”

The middle school is really fun and the teachers are great. They help you succeed. And the music program is fun. The extra curricular activities are the coolest things ever i happen to play lakeside baskeball soccer volleyball and lacrosse.”

Very strong athletics, arts, theater, music and extracurriculars (chess, math team, science olympiad). Students become involved in outreach service to local community. Academic level far exceeds typical high school. Roughly 1/3 of any graduating class are National Merit Scholars”
