The school leadership actively supports students in developing a sense of stewardship towards the world as a whole, and in becoming fluent with emerging issues of global importance. There is an international service orientation, programs bring in outside speakers of national (and International) importance, students go abroad in well thought out programs. Very strong athletics, arts, theater, music and extracurriculars (chess, math team, science olympiad). Students become involved in outreach service to local community. Academic level far exceeds typical high school.
