Taj Palace: Regal Dining in Bollywood Atmosphere

Taj Palace owner and chef Gurmail Singh Gill has worked in the restaurant business for more than 20 years and his expertise shows in the flavor and presentation of the dishes, which are formal Indian cuisine such as butter chicken and saag paneer.

Vegetarians will find plenty of options on the menu, including  aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato cooked in ginger and garlic), saag paneer (paneer cheese in a creamy spinach sauce) and vegetable pakoras (fritters).

A lunch buffet attracts a number of customers from nearby Microsoft and Nintendo. At $9.99, the buffet offers a range of dishes that include staples such as chicken tikka masala (tandoori chicken in a creamy, tomato-based sauce), lamb vindaloo (lamb in a tangy vinegar sauce) and beef shahi korma (beef cubes in an almond cream sauce).

The buffet promises four vegetarian and four non-vegetarian dishes along with appetizers, naan, salads, and two desserts.
