I’ve been interested in metal fabrication and construction since I was a teenager at Seattle’s
Roosevelt
High School in 1977. I continued to work with metal for art and functional applications during a 21 Year career with the US Army Rangers and Special Forces.
After retirement from service, I attended the Welding Fabrication program at
South
Seattle
Community College where I learned advanced welding techniques, layout, and fabrication. Through the college, I also attended a blacksmithing class that added another skill to use in my metal art. I am experienced in a multitude of finishing processes; texture and polish, patinas, and commercial coatings.
I provide full service from; initial survey, planning and design, through construction, finishing, and installation. Steelbamboo can embellish your home or business with art, construct unique architectural details, or fabricate functional custom metal work.
Metal art is so versatile that it can be applied to anything you or I can imagine. I enjoy custom projects and will work with you, your architects, contractors, and designers to achieve the results you desire.
My artwork is shown at the Oasis Gallery on Wallingford Ave. Seattle. My shop/studio is located in Wedgewood,

I regularly donate my work to charity, which has been very profitable for these deserving organizations. If you are affiliated with an organization which accepts artwork for charity please contact me.
