Stellar Pizza & Ale is an independent, family owned full-service restaurant located in the Georgetown neighborhood in South Seattle. Everything at Stellar is homemade - pizza, pasta, soups and sandwiches. We have eight Micro brews on tap, plus a great selection of bottled beer and wine, pool tables and good old-fashioned pinball games.
We are family friendly, up until 9pm.
Tips
- When to Go
The restaurant stays family friendly until 9pm, at which time the place usually starts attracting an older, beer-guzzling crowd.
- Know Before You Go
On some Saturday evenings, Stella's staff shoos diners out of the pool room and turns the pizza joint into a live-music venue.

Very cool restaurant in the Georgetown neighborhood of south Seattle. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was very good! Also was able to get a salad instead of other side that came with it.
Only gave 4 stars because I've only been once. Want to go back when I have time for Pizza or a Calzone!
Pros: Menu
Cons: Area of Town
Nummy Place to Eat

My husband and I having been going for years!! Love the pizza, best in town and the calzones are tasty too! The staff is friendly, and knows how to take care of their customers!! It?s a funky, artsy pizzeria! Regarding "rebekahlu review"?If the kitchen is too hot, then get out! Better yet maybe you need a drink to unwind!!
Pros: Great food! Great Service!
Cons: Parking sometimes is tight... but you can usually park in the back if lot full!!
With so many great places close by, don't waste your time

What a huge disappointment! I will give them this: the food is good. But save it for take out! You do not want to invest more than a phone call and 5 mins ringing up at this place.
Some drunk employee??? friend of the staff??? was SCREAMING from the bar to the kitchen. My order was screwed up twice. (How hard is it to mess up soup and salad?) Seriously, $8 for wine and $6 for beer at a neighborhood restaurant in Georgetown considering the bad service and nutso clientele? Come on!
NEVER GOING BACK!
Pros: Food is good
Cons: Service is horrible, drinks are very overpriced, decor is cliche but cute
Great pizza and calzones, service is ok

We have been here about a dozen times. The food is always excellent, sometimes it takes longer than others. The servers are always fairly friendly - but do not own up to mistakes or make any apologies.
One night my husband and I were there with four other people. Everyone ordered pizza and he ordered a calzone. After our pizza was served and we were halfway through with it we flagged down the waitress to ask where the calzone was. She informed us that it takes longer for calzones (totally true); however, a half hour later with no calzone we asked about it again. The same comment was made - a half hour later we asked AGAIN, the waitress finally looked confused herself. After my husband waited for two hours he got his calzone, no apology waqs made - and not a dime off of the check!
The pizza here is greagt, and other than that time we have had pretty good service - so we will definately be back.
