The full-service Magnolia Garden Center is conveniently located in Magnolia just ten minutes from downtown and surrounded by Queen Anne and Ballard. For over 40 years we've been a trusted source for annuals, perennials, house plants, trees and shrubs, mulches and soil amendments, container gardening for your balcony or deck, and tools and supplies.
We regularly schedule classes and workshops on topics of seasonal interest such as container planting, rose pruning and flowering plant selection.
What people are planting now: Blueberries, bare root raspberries, grapes and rhubarb. Early spring vegetables, many varieties of organically grown greens (lettuces, romaine, mesculin, collards and more), early peas and broccoli. Organically grown vegetables and roses are here too!

I went in trying to get some greens going for the summer and having been told that it was "too late" to plant at other spots, was able to find some plants that have worked out really well in my yard. Chuck was very knowldegable and helped me get my yard looking beautiful

My husband likes to come with me just to look because it is pretty and calming, and he likes to ask questions about plants that I can't answer! That's okay, the staff here are first rate. They know there perennials and shrubs, that's what I can tell you. Also, they seem to enjoy their work, and that is a nice feeling. They have a wonderful selection of roses, and my husband's favorite--Japanese Maples. Prices are what you would expect for a garden center--but you can definitely find deals. They also offer landscaping services for your home. We recommend it.
