Welcome to Portage Bay Cafe & Catering's second location in South Lake Union! Tall ceilings, light-colored decor and floor to ceiling windows create a very open and welcoming space. We pride ourselves in the use of sustainable, organic ingredients and our support of local vendors.
Come for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Breakfast starts at 7:30am Monday-Friday, 8am Saturday-Sunday and is served until 3pm. Breakfast at Portage Bay Cafe is healthy and fun! Try our pancake toppings bar with lots of fresh fruit and syrups to choose from. We also offer catering for your next special event. For catering, it's recommended to stop by our South Lake Union location to see a menu and speak with our catering personnel.

The yellow curry tofu scramble looked like a healthy choice, but when it arrived sopped in oil, it was anything but appetizing. I had to wipe the grease off my mouth after every bite! GROSSS!!! I won't be going back there!
Pros: close to where I live, organic fare
Cons: greasy food, no lunch on weekends

Spectacularly good food. The lines on Sunday a.m. tell the tale. Get there at 1:30 or so to get a seat on the outdoor patio on Sundays... earlier and you will have to wait. Delicious. Go there.
Pros: Delicious, organic, outdoor seating, special!
Cons: big lines on Sunday a.m.

The quality of food wasn't wrth the 50 minute wait to get it after we sat down.
