By far the best Thai food in Redmond. I have tried pretty much every Thai place in the Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville area and have not found one that compares. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and new recognize me. The food is always beyond superb. My family and I have not had one bad experience with this restaurant and recommend it highly to EVERYONE that asks!! :o]

Pros: Amazing food and service

Cons: NOTHING!!!

long wait, unattentive staff

I have been searching for a good Thai restaurant on the Eastside for a while, checking out Typhoon, Thai Ginger, etc in Redmond, with a favorite being Pen Thai. I recently heard of Silver Spoon in the outskirts of Redmond. Decided to go check out Silver Spoon on Friday at 7pm for dinner with my husband. Upon arrival, we saw a line out the door - good sign right? Place must be good since all these people are here. We came in, waited and waited in the cramped waiting area. There must have been 5 wait staff who hurried past us without eye contact. After 10 minutes I stopped one asking what the wait time was, he told me 15 minutes and I had to ask to put my name down in the book. We went for a walk and 15 minutes later came back to find the line even longer and seeing some now-familiar faces. I had to hunt down another hurried wait staff (as the restaurant is missing a host) and asked to check whether we have been called to be seated - well noone in line has! The wait staff did not pay attention to the people waiting to be seated by the "wait to be seated" sign. When asked for a time estimate I was again grudgingly told "15 minutes", some time later it was still "15 minutes" with the line not moving. I dont care how great the food is but if the service stinks and the wait staff snobbily avoid you - I am not eating there. I dont think I will be making another 20 minute trip to the outskirts of Redmond to be given fake time estimates and ignored. From what I saw - the restaurant is very small - the size of a typical household living room. Decor i nice but cramped (you are sitting elbow to elbow with other patrons) - so dont expect private moments for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere was loud. They did have a teenager playing piano but it was barely audible above the crowd noise. I looked on the website before going - the menu items are overpriced. You dont need to pay $15 for curry you can get elsewhere for half the price. Don't go.

Pros: live music

Cons: horrible service, long wait, over-priced

These people are great, not only are they professional, accomodating, super nice, but they also have AWESOME thai. On the weekends they also have a piano player and singer, pretty snazzy.

Pros: Great food and service

Cons: a bit spendy but worth it
