Artist statement: My work is form, shape, how the medium “fits’ on the paper. I want to tell a story – to convey a feeling. I want to invoke – life.  When I start a picture, I look at the paper and ask it  - Who are you?  Hidden among the fibers – a soul waits to break free! An image emerges softly, like smoke, swirling slowly it takes shape.  My pencil glides across the page until what was hidden is revealed, each piece of paper a hidden story – and it is my wish to reveal it.  My job, to give life to it and bring it to completion for others to see.
